I am a dynamic, resourceful teaching professional with a genuine interest in student success; academically, socially, and emotionally. 

In my classroom students must commit to a level of performance that challenges to reach their full potential. I am a strong advocate for explicit standard based instruction. 

I am actively involved in all areas of education; including curriculum development, teacher mentoring, parent and community involvement. 

A self-driven educator with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who effectively collaborates with all levels of staff members and fosters quality relationships with students and their families.

Currently 4^th grade Literacy at Pittsburgh Banksville.

I have a daughter, Rowan, who is a senior at Point Park University.
