After High School, I attended St. Margaret’s nursing school, graduating in 1976. After working at St. Clair Hospital for a few years as an RN, I decided to return and get a graduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.

After Pitt, I moved to Williamsport, Pa and accepted a position as faculty in the Williamsport Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program, where eventually I became an Associate Director in the Residency, and educator in the GYN curriculum. During this time, I developed and patented an endocervical sampling device called “CYTO-SLEEVE”, to detect abnormal cells during a cancer screening procedure called colposcopy.

While in Williamsport, doing some amateur theater (Jesus Christ Superstar) I met my now husband Mike Armbruster. We’ve been married 29 happy years and reside in Williamsport with our 3 dogs. We love to travel, especially to Italy, and plan to return there for our 30th anniversary this spring.

With a passion for Women’s Health and Holistic Health, I opened my own practice, New Beginnings Healthcare for Women, LLC in 2007-www.newbeginningsforwomen.com. The focus of my work is delivering exceptional care with attention to all aspects of the person-mind, body and spirit. After my many years in healthcare, my new practice had restored me as a healer and infused my work with more joy than ever. God-willing, I plan on continuing my healing ministry as long as I am able.

Blessings to all for health, peace and joy!
