2012 -40th I am a 40-year resident of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 40 Years ago I loved winter. Now – not so much. I have spent my career as a development director, fundraiser, and primarily, grant writer. I have loved working for nonprofits as it has always given me a sense of purpose. I most enjoyed working with Special Olympics and Feeding America. My best friend of 30 years and husband for 22 years has dementia and is in hospice. For many of you whose parent has had Alzheimer, I know you understand the loss of a loved one. Despite this, I revel in good friends, family, reading, yoga, singing, and am going to see both Arlo Guthrie in concert and then seeing the musical “Rent”. Life is good.
