2022 - 50th After graduation I went to Purdue for an electrical engineering degree. It took a year to get used to Indiana flat after Pittsburgh hills. I graduated and worked briefly for a small engineering firm in Pittsburgh and then back to Purdue for a master’s in business. After finishing at Purdue, I went to work for Exxon (now ExxonMobil) in Houston. I have moved a couple of times and done quite a bit of U.S. and international travel but ended up back in Houston. I have been retired since 2017 but am just as busy as I want to be, mostly volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity, my church, United Way, etc. I met my wife, Lynn, here in Houston and have three kids and four grandkids with another on the way, all in Houston. A fun fact: • 1) My dad also graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School and coordinated his 40th reunion. Since this is my 50th, together this makes our 90th reunion. I don’t have any relatives in the Pittsburgh area so the reunions are my excuse to come back and visit. |
