Bernard T. “Bernie” Worden died suddenly on November 11, 2010 of heart failure, beloved life partner of the late Richard Gursky.
Bernard was a kind hearted, loving and selfless friend to everyone who knew him. Bernard worked for more than 10 years for the former Tim Condron Florist of Shadyside as "Buyer, Retail Manager and the Personality of the Business." Bernard was born in Pittsburgh on February 18, 1954, the son of the late Edward J. and Wilma Macko Worden. Bernard was also preceded in death by his sisters Geralyn "Lyn" Yarows and Marguerite Worden. He is survived by his siblings Suzanne (Bobby) Fagan of Wildwood Crest NJ, Kathy (Mike) Gandley of Ypsilanti Mi, and Edward "Ed" (Debbie) of Pittsburgh Pa; his beloved nephews Jesse Gandley and Kevin Yarows and his favorite niece Kristen Yarows.
