GREGORY ABBOTT WOODWORTH Age 63, of Franklin Park on Wednesday night, September 6, 2017. Born in Mount Lebanon, PA to the late Margaret Haupt and Donald Woodworth. Beloved husband and best friend of Kathleen Herzog; loving father of Rebecca and Cristin. Preceded in death by his brothers, Donald, Jr. and Curtis. Brother-in-law of Carrie (Ron) Harr, David A. Herzog, Mark (Marlene) Herzog, Timothy (Lisa) Herzog, Eric D. Herzog, Paul (Linda) Stavros and Sophia (Chris) Rossetti. Also survived by nieces and nephews, Michael Dipaulo, Jenna Stavros, Stephanie (Chris) Cole, Alex Herzog, Emily Herzog, Zachary Herzog, Jacob Herzog, Stephen Marion, and Bridget Marion. Greg was a 1972 graduate of Mount Lebanon High School. He was co-owner of Sargent Safety Services as well as safety consultant for Sargent Electric Company and served in various capacities for over 40 years. Greg lived a full life as a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, hunter, scuba diver, golfer, fisherman, combat shooter, skier, boater, gardener, biker and prankster. He left his imprint on many of us and your prayers for our hearts to heal as we mourn our loss are appreciated. He was bigger than life and the quiet he leaves behind is deafening.
